The challenge
Moving high-value parcels is unforgiving work. Diamonds, art, rare coins, the kind of cargo where a single mistake is expensive and very visible. And around that cargo sits a whole layer of money work: pricing, payments, and the price tiers that decide what each customer pays.
For a long time that layer was manual. Pricing was the heaviest part of it. Every rate, every tier, every adjustment was set up by hand. Payments needed manual handling too. None of it was fast, and manual work invites mistakes, the kind that are easy to make and hard to catch.
The real cost wasn’t just the time. It was the ceiling. When every pricing change is a manual job, you can’t onboard customers quickly and you can’t price flexibly. Anything more ambitious, like opening up to individual consumers, each on their own pricing level, stays out of reach as long as the work is done by hand.

The Solution
We took the manual money work and automated it. Payments, pricing, and the full setup of price tiers now run on their own, instead of someone building each one step by step.
Setting up a tier used to be slow and fiddly. Now it’s configuration. You define the pricing and the tiers, and the platform takes care of the rest. What used to be a manual task became a setting, and that one shift changes how fast the whole thing can move.
Under the hood it runs on AWS, ECS, RDS, S3, DMS, with full CI/CD, on our infrastructure and under our care. We’re also going further: rebuilding the platform end to end so it can support tiered pricing per customer level. That’s the hard, deliberate part, the groundwork that turns a B2B tool into something that can serve consumers too.

The result
Moving high-value parcels is unforgiving work. Diamonds, art, rare coins, the kind of cargo where a single mistake is expensive and very visible. And around that cargo sits a whole layer of money work: pricing, payments, and the price tiers that decide what each customer pays.

The takeaway
Automate the manual money work, payments, pricing, the whole tier setup, and the slow, error-prone parts simply go away. Pricing becomes a setting instead of a chore, and the platform is finally ready to scale from B2B to B2C.
